Quest Details

  1. Enter the mighthy Geffen Tower in middle of Geffen.
    • Geffen Tower
  2. Climb all the up to the top floor to speak with Wizard Guidlsman.
    • Wizard Guildsman
    • Tell her that you wish to become a Wizard.
  3. You need to talk to Gloomy Wizard in the corner of the same room.
    • Gloomy Wizard
    • Tell him that you want to continue with the tests...
    • He will give you 10 quests in a randomness between 3 sets.
    • Set 1:
      1. The skill not necessary to learn Fire Wall is [Napalm Beat] Lv4.
      2. Casting Frost Diver on a monster changes its attribute to Water.
      3. Mastering Napalm Beat makes the skill yield 1.7 times MATK.
      4. A Red Gemstone is required for casting Stone Curse.
      5. The skill not needed to learn Safety Wall is Increase SP Recovery Lv6.

      4. A Wind attribute weapon deals 200% damage to a level 3 Water attribute monster.
      5. If a Baby Desert Wolf and Familiar fought, the Baby Desert Wolf would win.
      6. Roda Frogs cannot be Cute Pets.
      7. Hammer Goblin is weak against a Fire attribute attack.

    • Set 3:
      1. The most important stat for a Mage is INT.
      2. Earth does not have a "bolt" type attack.
      3. "Good at selling stuff" is not something that would relate to a Mage.
      4. Geffen is the town of the Mages.
      5. Soldier Andre card has nothing to do with INT.
      6. Compared to other job classes, the Mage is good at Exceptional Magic Skills.
      7. INT bonus at job level 40 is +5 for a Mage.
      8. A Boy's Cap cannot be equipped by Mages.
      9. The catalyst when making the Mage test solution 3 is a Blue Gemstone.
      10. Magnolia card is irrelevant to magic.
  4. After passing the test, speak to Gloomy Wizard once more. He will warp you to a secret place.
  5. Inside the room, you have to enter the Waiting Room (1/20)
  6. The next segment requires fighting through 3 rooms of monsters. Participants have 3 minutes to clear each room. If you die or run out of times, you will fail and need to retake the test.
    • Room 1: 4 Hydra, Cornutus, Phen, Shellfish, Vadon, Magnolia, Marin, Marina, Marine Sphere (kill the Marine Spheres first)
    • Room 2: Orc Warrior, 8 Mandragora, Bigfoot, Caramel, Giearth, Vitata, Deniro
    • Room 3: Goblin, Elder Willow, Frilldora, Scorpion, Greatest General, Pecopeco, Metaller
  7. If you fail or give up this test, you will receive a Quiz Challange:
    • What monster is different in attribute? Cornutus
    • Which monster does not covet items? Zerom
    • What monster is not cast sensitive? Marina.
    • What magic is effective to marine sphere? Lightning bolt
    • What is not a stationary monster? Frilldora
